Hello, this is Keiichiro Toyama from Bokeh Game Studio.
Since the establishment of our studio on August 2020, we have been facing many new experiences and enjoying working as a new, independent studio.
At the moment the studio is solely focused on the development of “Slitterhead”, which was announced at The Game Awards 2021.
For many of us who have worked on first party development for the majority of our careers, developing a completely new game in a completely new environment with an engine we had no experience in – I will be honest and say that though it has been enjoying, there have been tough times and challenges along the road. However, it is also a deeply emotional experience with a huge sense of accomplishment to shape the unshaped after various try & errors and many discussions.
Meanwhile, I have entered my fifties - not only do I still pursue my own creative thoughts, but I am also beginning to find new talent and try and prepare an environment where those younger, creative minds can reach their potential. I feel this is an important duty for me to serve for the next upcoming generation.
First of all, I would like to meet as many new talents that I can. We are a studio that values freedom and creativity, so if you are passionate about game development, we are looking forward to hearing from you.
