Golden Hour: New Video of Fumihiko Yasuda, Makoto Shibata and Keiichiro Toyama Released on YouTube
We have released a new video on our YouTube Channel, in which we invited Fumihiko Yasuda(Nioh, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty) and Makoto Shibata(Fatal Frame series) from Koei Tecmo Games as guests to share a drink with our own Keiichiro Toyama(Silent Hill, Gravity Rush).
In our fourth entry of the running Golden Hour series, we invited Fumihiko Yasuda – known for directing and producing the Nioh series, as well as acting as producer on Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty and the upcoming Rise of the Ronin, and Makoto Shibata – who directed all of the original Fatal Frame games. The pair spoke about their distinctive approach to creating games with Toyama, who they are close friends with. Whilst there is a clear difference between both styles(action and horror respectively), we can also see how both can resonate in certain aspects as they recall on how they came to work on their past titles.
We are also pleased to announce that we will be resuming regular activity on our YouTube channel. While we will continue to invite exciting guests for the “Golden Hour” series, we are also creating more videos focused on the development of “Slitterhead” which was announced at The Game Awards 2021. Users who are eager to hear and learn more about this game are encouraged to subscribe to their YouTube Channel so they are notified when new videos are uploaded.
