The Concept Art of Slitterhead
The Concept Art of Slitterhead
Step into the dark and twisted world of Slitterhead with “The Concept Art of Slitterhead”, an exclusive exhibition showcasing the origins and design process behind the game’s most haunting elements.
In the chaotic city of Kowlong, creatures known as Slitterhead disguise themselves as humans, feasting on the brains of the living. The story follows Hyoki, a protagonist who has lost both his memory and physical form, driven solely by a singular purpose: the complete extermination of Slitterhead.
This special exhibition focuses on the unsettling creatures that lurk within this mysterious world.
From early rough sketches and conceptual designs of the sinister cult Echoes of Love Society to unreleased development materials for the enigmatic “Human Farm” concept, this event offers fans a rare glimpse into the game’s deeper layers.
One of the highlights is the never-before-seen fourth boss character, “Harley” — a terrifying design that never made it into the final game.
With character design by Tatsuya Yoshikawa and creature design by Keisuke Yoneyama, visitors can view the full visual evolution of Harley, from its human guise to its monstrous “true form.”
Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the unseen depths of Slitterhead — a must-see exhibition for fans of the game’s unique aesthetic and dark narrative.
